Every year around this time, fashionistas, music lovers, and world travelers head west to one of the biggest festivals in the world, Coachella. They break out their flower headbands, fringe vests, and good vibes all in the name of fun in the sun. While the music is the main attraction, many of us are hitting watching from Instagram and Facebook to see what everyone will wear. While festival clothing hasn’t changed much since Woodstock in the 60’s every year there are a few trends that always seems to stand out amongst the crowd. Here are the five trends that we never want to end.

1. Fun Nails - This year no nail was left undesigned. Coachella brought out some of the most fun and colorful designs yet, just in time for summer. Whether it was glitter and stones, tribal designs, or using every color under the rainbow, nail inspo was a major part of every ensemble choice.

2. Bohemian Chic Hair - Festivals always seem to bring out the flower child in everyone, but this year it was all about finding a way to include braids into your hair styles. Whether it was one Goddess braid that went around the whole head or box braids that went past the hips, people held no punches with their braid choices.Another trend was colorful hair. Colorful hair isn’t a new trend at all, but the colors seem to get a bit bolder and brighter during festival season. Singer Kehlani decided to dazzle everyone with jewel toned turquoise hair.

3. Glitter- Festivals are all about vivid beauty looks. This weekend usually looks like an 80’s rebirth with colorful streaks of makeup going above the brows, hot pink blush, and purple contour. This time glitter was the all-star. Instead of highlight, people used chunky glitter to glow-up and glitter tears kept everyone’s face lit. Beauty Blogger and Makeup Artist Mac Daddy completely slapped everyone with his version of glitter tears this weekend.

4. Bold Lips- Who knew Coachella was an excuse to pull out those dark and crazy lip colors. Since it’s a spring festival, the obvious choice for a lipstick would have been something peachy or pink. This year it seems like everyone got the news about wearing dark bold colors. Black lipstick was seen everywhere, and colors like emerald green and navy blue made quite a few appearance. 5. Metals and Jewels on clothing - Coachella did not disappoint with fashion. Long gone are those cute little rhinestones on shirts, now it is all about wearing tops made out of metals and jewels. Check out Peyton List in this dope geo-jewel top ( I made that name up lol).
